


Lytham St Annes is famous for its miles of beaches, a haven for boating enthusiasts, fishermen and those who just like to be beside the seaside. If rolling countryside is more your liking, the lake district, the Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales are all within a days drive.
By Road
Lytham lies on the A584, which is the coast road round the Fylde from Preston through to Blackpool. Lytham town is on the seafront but is separated from St Annes by four miles of coast road.
Directions from M55
Leave the motorway at junction 4, take the first left hand turn on to the A583 Preston bound, take the right hand lane. At the traffic lights 45 degree right into Peel Road, keep on this road until you reach a T junction and then turn right into Ballam Road, go straight down the road into Lytham town centre passing Lytham Hall on your right and office buildings on each side. Turn right at the T junction in the square and then turn left into Queen Street you will see the rear of The Clifton Arms Hotel and car park at the end of Queen Street. Turn left at the Give way onto West Beach - you may park at the front or turn right into the main car park.
